i kept coming back to that today…
to the small rituals that remind my body it’s not alone:
a warm cup, soft light, a quiet moment that doesn’t ask anything of me.

safety doesn’t always arrive in big ways.
sometimes it’s one breath.
sometimes it’s letting your shoulders drop.
sometimes it’s remembering you don’t have to earn rest or steadiness —
your body is already doing its best to get you there.

if you need it too:
breathe in for 5,
hold for 2,
exhale for 5.

let your system soften.
let the moment hold you for a change.
